Robert Redford signing on for Captain America: The Winter Soldier was quite the coup for Marvel Studios, and certainly one that too everybody by surprise. The did it again with Michael Douglas joining the cast of next years's Ant-Man, and it looks like another acting legend might be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Al Pacino revealing to the Happy Sad Confused Podcast (by way of MTV) that he has met with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. The actor (who called Guardians of the Galaxy "amazing, inventive, and beautiful") didn't reveal much more, saying, when asked did he feel there was role in store for him, "I would imagine either there's something he feels is right for me, or...". At this point, Pacino's phone rang, with the actor adding, "Every time we talk about Marvel, that's what happens".
It remains to be seen if this actually leads to anything, but with Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnarock, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, The Inhumans, and Avengers: Infinity War parts 1 and 2 all coming our way over the next few years, there are plenty of possibilities for Pacino to take a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
