While we won’t have our review until next week for Transformers Age Of Extinction, it hasn’t fared too well elsewhere. But if we’ve learned anything, reviews don’t mean shit when it comes to gigantic robots battering seven million gallons of oil out of each other. The fourth movie in the franchise has pulled in a whopping $300 million worldwide, $200 million of which came from international markets, where it pulled in a stunning $90 million in China which is the biggest foreign opening there ever.
Stateside Michael Bay’s behemoth has had the biggest opening of the year so far, raking in $100 million, and while it fell short of Revenge Of The Fallen’s opening by $8 million, it’s still mightily impressive.
