Paramount promised many twists and turns with Terminator Genisys, which mashes together all four instalments of the franchise into one crazy reboot, and they delivered quite a big one with a recent trailer that revealed a new villainous role for long standing hero, John Connor. Many people viewed it as a massive spoiler, but the studio are leading with it, as evidenced by the fact he gets his own character poster, with the reveal that he is now designated the T-3000, alongside the main cast.
While it may have been better kept as a nice sucker punch in a darkened cinema, it’s out there, and people are still talking about it almost a month later. And, really, isn’t that the point, to keep the movie in the public eye? I’m 50/50 about the whole affair, but I do like that director Alan Taylor and writers Laeta Kalogirdis and Patrick Lussier are going a bit crazy with this. Anyway check out the posters below.
