With Luke Bracey and Edgar Ramirez stepping into the shoes of Johnny Utah and Bodhi, Ericson Core's (Invincible) Point Break, inspired by Katryn Bigelow’s 1991 action classic, comes our way next year (Christmas for our American friends), and judging by the first poster there could very well be a whiff of Fast & Furious about it (Core was DP on the original The Fast & The Furious).
While we still have to see a trailer, we can certainly say this will be a very different animal from the original. It’s a pretty cool image, one that certainly grabs you, but I love the original with an absolute passion, so I’m approaching this with some serious scepticism. Personally, the name feels like it’s there for recognition only. What do you think about this latest remake, sound off with your comments below.
