Hot on the heels of joining the cast of Ted 2, Morgan Freeman has been announced as the first cast member of Timue Bekmambetov's (Night Watch, Wanted) Ben-Hur remake. Freeman will play Ildarin, the men who trains Ben-Hur. The title role has yet to be cast, but Tom Hiddleston was being eyed for the role last month, but no official decision has been announced yet.
