Less than a month ago we reported that Roberto Orci was lobbying heavily for the the director’s chair on Star Trek 3. We’re not sure what he did (maybe baked a few cakes or something) but it’s worked. With writing credentials that include both J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek movies, Orci is now after landing the gig, that is according to “insider” sources. As well as potentially shouting “Cut!” aaaaaannnnnnnnnndddddddddd “Action” Roberto Orci is also writing the third Star Trek movie alongside PAtrick McKay and John D. Payne.
It’s a brave movie on Paramount’s behalf, but as of yet no official word has surfaced. Watch this space!
