Director Roland Emmerich and the cast, including Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Jesse Usher, Sela Ward, Liam Hemsworth, and Brent Spiner, of his long awaited Independence Day sequel took to the stage for a live Q&A that started a few short minutes ago, and the first big piece of information to come our way is the sequels official title, Independence Day: Resurgence.
It’s a pretty safe title, but is in keeping with the synopsis which sees the monument hating alien invaders from the first movie coming back to earth with a stronger, more advanced force ready to wipe Earth off the face of the galaxy. But of course, we’re ready this time, especially with a planet wide defence system, headed by Goldblum’s Daniel Levinson, and new weaponry, made up of harvested alien technology.
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting more an d more exited for the movie to hit our screens June 24th 2016.
