A villain many an X-Men fan has been waiting for to appear on the big screen is finally coming our way next year, and a new Comic-Con exclusive X-Men: Apocalypse poster, handed out to fans ahead of today’s 20th century Fox panel, gives us our first look at Oscar Isaac as the titular villain, and what a wonderfully ominous image it is. I like how it plays up Apocalypse’s Egyptian heritage, and his look, which was always going to be a bit of a hard sell, works well, and is incredibly creepy and inhuman.

X-Men: Apocalypse comes our way May 27th 2016.
