Made up of three scenes that focus on three important Apple product launches, Trainspotting and Trance director Danny Boyle teams with scribe Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing, The Social Network) for Steve Jobs, with Michael Fassbenders stepping into shoes of the titular technology pioneer, and the below trailer promises that we’re in for a hell of a ride.
Fassbender is on top form as Jobs, as is an impressive supporting cast that includes Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, and Jeff Daniels. The trailer also shows that it won’t be glossing over the fact that as brilliant as he was, Jobs was also incredibly driven, and wasn’t afraid to rub people in his business, and personal life, the wrong way. Boyle has always impressed, and over the last few years he’s knocked it out of the park with each movie. I have the feeling much won’t change here.
Released: October 9th (U.S.)/ November 13th (IRL/U.K.)
