Today we hit the ripe old age of 72 months old, or in other speak, six years old. I won't bother blathering on about how I never thought a small blog would turn into a gargantuan website six years ago.
What I will blather on about though is, three things. Firstly, the team we have here, are nothing short of phenomenal. Nothing is impossible with this wonderful crew. Many moons ago I made the decision to limit the amount of writers that the site uses. Too many voices can cloud things quite quickly and add confusion to readers. So, what we've achieved here over the last few years is pretty incredible when I think about it.
Secondly, the studios have to get a tip of our birthday hat. Sure, they may disagree with some of things that we write (as do you) but we've built up great relationships over the years and they've been good enough to quote us on social media, billboards, posters, trailers and TV ads.
Thirdly and most importantly (see, I kept the best for last) the other blathering point is YOU! Yes, you nice people, who come here in your millions between birthdays. The same nice people who read, watch and listen to what we excrete (sometimes literally) onto your screens, phones and tablets. So thank you! We genuinely do appreciate it!
Anyway, that's it. I can hear the orchestra starting up!
