While many thought Eastwood might step in front of the lens for the movie, there are reports that he may be about to land Tom Hanks instead for the lead. If so, you can expect this to jump straight to the front of the queue for some Oscars in two years time, as it certainly ticks all the right boxes to get the academy interested.
