We know Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Frank Grillo, Elizabeth Olsen, and Daniel Bruhl are making up the massive cast of Captain America: Civil War. But now, that cast is growing by one with Marvel Studios announcing that they are dipping into the cast of Sherlock once again, after casting Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, with Martin Freeman joining their Phase Three kick-off.
There’s no word on who he will be playing, but with Grillo and Bruhl pulling villain duties, and more than enough heroes around, I have the feeling it could be an original, possibly one of the politicians trying to pass the Superhuman registration act. Of course, time will tell if I’m right.
Captain America: Civil War is set for release 6th May 2016.
