Much like The Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jamie Bell's The Thing and his rocky final form in Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reb...
This CGI version of the well known character really seems to be playing up the 'made of rocks' angle of the character, and I kind of like the way it's as if a pile of rocks grew arms, legs, and a head. It's also nice that his face doesn't really have any definition (though I can't make out if this ever lovin', blue eyed Thing actually has blue eyes). The most disconcerting thing about Micheal Chiklis in the role from the original was that you could clearly make out his features under The Thing make up. I'm usually one for practical effects over CG, but that was just distracting.
The magazine also dropped images of Mister Fantastic's (Miles Teller) stretchy powers in action, as well as another look at the Negative Zone, the source of the group's powers in this new story.
