I think it was a question we all knew the answer, but everybody involved in Batman v Superman was keeping epically schtum that we had to ask ourselves: was Jesse Eisenberg going bald for the role of Lex Luthor? Well, EW has given us our first look at the villainous business man, and yes, he is sans hair.

I've got to say Eisenberg looks exceptionally mean bald, so he's at least got the look of Superman's nemesis down. Director Zach Snyder also shared with us what to expect from the movie's interpretation of the classic villain, saying, "He's not any of the Lexes you've seen, that's for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.....Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake. He says what he believes and he says what is on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it's all there."



Batman v Superman: dawn of Justice is exactly one year from being released, so hopefully we'll see a trailer soon (popular theory is that it will run with Mad Max: Fury Road this Summer) showing Eisenberg's Lex in action.
