Based on the Image Comics graphic novel, the movie adaption of Cowboy Ninja Viking, telling the tale of a schizophrenic government assassin who possesses the skills of three distinct personalities (hence the title), has been doing the rounds for a few years now. It once had Zombieland scribes Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese and World War Z director Marc Forster attached, but they have since left the project. The project is still alive and kicking though, with Collider reporting that Chris Pratt, whose star continues to rise exponentially after Guardians of the Galaxy, will be staying the realm of comic book movies, signing on the dotted line to play lead Duncan, who escapes the shadowy Triplet program to hunt down the billionaire who masterminded it. Pratt is the perfect choice for the role, having a fantastic talent for juggling comedy and drama and is no stranger to the physicality the role will call for, and the premise is just crazy enough to provide plenty for the actor to work with. No director is attached, but with Pratt onboard, I expect that to change pretty quickly.
