While we have rolled our eyes on many a occasion at Johnny Depp playing his well worn oddball characters, Mortdecai seems entertaining enough to see passed all that. As Charlie Mortdecai, a cad and rogue on the search for a painting that supposedly leads to a bank account filled with Nazi gold, leads an impressive cast, including Ewan McGregor, Jeff Goldblum, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Paul Bettany, and while this teaser trailer is very, very light on plot, it does a very good job of conveying the goofy tone of the movie and Depp's performance.
