Not so long ago, Daisy Ridley was stuck on an island off the south Kerry coast with Mark Hamill and now, it seems like she’s going to be sticking around Mark Hamill and the Star Wars universe for a lot longer. According to a report on Deadline, she is the female lead for Episode VII, VIII and IX, and apparently agencies were fighting each other to the death (ok, maybe not) to sign the actress who was hired for the Star Wars gig(s) after a worldwide casting search. After some heated competition (and probably beheadings and dismemberment) UTA signed the new Carrie Fisher. And I mean the Carrie Fisher comment in the best possible way. It was a life changing moment for Fisher back in the late 70s and it’s certainly a life changer of Daisy Ridley.
