Seeing the director staying in the western genre for a little while long, Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight caused quite a stir in January when the first draft of script was leaked onto the Internet, angering the Tarantino to no end. He cancelled the project then and there, saying he was done with it. But it seemed to be a project he couldn't quite shake, and when he held a one time live reading of the script, along with a cast of his frequent collaborators, he did give some hope that we might see it on the big screen, saying he was working on a second and third draft of the script.
Now that hope seems to be well founded, with Showbiz 411 reporting that a November start date has been pencilled in for the Western, after Tarantino was said to have "calmed down" after the initial script leak. Shooting is said to be taking place in Wyoming, with the cast of the script reading, which includes Bruce Dern, Tim Roth, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, James Remar, Walt Goggins, and Zoe Bell, been gathered for the movie. No release date has been given, but hopefully we'll hear more about the project in the coming months.
