Ericson Core's Point Break remake hit a snag when Gerard Butler, cast in Patrick Swayze's role of Bodhi, dropped out. Now, with filming set to begin in a few weeks, the role has been recast, with Zero Dark Thirty's Edgar Ramirez in talks to step into Butler's shoes. Billed as a 're-creation' (my new most hated word after reboot), this remake sees rookie FBI Agent Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) enter the world of extreme sports and international heists as he infiltrates a criminal ring. No release date has been given as of yet.
