With all of director Paul Feig’s tweets giving us a look at the gadgets and transport of his new gender swapped team of Ghostbusters, it was only a matter of time before we got our first look at Kristen Wii, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon as our spirit capturing heroes, and here they are in all their glory, posing beside the new look Ecto-1.
The look is definitely there. I like that everything has the feeling that it’s homemade. The uniforms are just overalls. The Ecto-1 is an 80’s throwback (the original Ecto-1 was from the 50’s). McKinnon looks to be playing an Egon type. Feig seems to be keeping the spirit of the original at least, and I like that. Next year will tell if it all comes together though.
