Just a few short weeks ago, we got confirmation that recent Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) would be taking the lead role in Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Now, Warner Bros. have announced another addition to the highly anticipated movie, with Inherent Vice’s Katherine Waterston signing on the dotted line to take on the pivotal role of Tina, short for Porpentina, an American witch (this movie will apparently also see us visiting Hogwarts American counterpart) with who joins up with Redmayne’s Newt Scarmander when he stops in New York during his travels to find and document magical creatures.
With J.K. Rowling making her script writing debut for director David Yates (who helmed the last four Harry Potter movies) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them comes our way November 18th 2016.
