Not content with being the first movie to earn over $500 million world wide in its opening weekend, Jurassic World has reached another milestone in an incredible amount of time, with Saturday marking the movie passing the billion dollar mark in just thirteen days (a feat I think we all expected after its record breaking opening weekend). Jurassic World takes the record from Fast & Furious 7, who reached the magic number only a few months ago in seventeen days.
The Colin Trevorow directed juggernaut has also posted the fastest time to reach $400 million at the American box office, in just ten days, and has reached $500 million internationally in only eleven days. There’s no stopping it really.
