While Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One will be with us next year, its follow up, due out in 2018, has been making the news in a big way this week, due to Josh Trank leaving the project. Now, attention turns once again to the now directorless spin-off, with The Wrap reporting that the movie will focus on fan favourite bounty hunter, Boba Fett. This has been a turn of events that has being rumoured for quite a while now (it would be a stupid move not to exploit such a beloved character), and while the outlet says it will be an origin movie, Boba Fett’s origins have already being explored in Attack of the Clones. Most likely, if it does go ahead, the movie will follow the galaxy’s favourite bad ass on an adventure leading up to his appearance in The Empire Strikes Back.
