The closer we get to its release, the more giddy I become for Gil Kenan’s remake of the classic haunted hose movie, Poltergeist. It’s movie I loved growing up, and Kenan’s Monster House, where he made a kid’s cartoon genuinely creepy and scary, proved he’s the man for the job. Now, the first clip has come our way, turning the creep levels all the way up to eleven as the evil spirits terrorising the Bowen house begin to make their presence felt.
Released: 22nd May
Synopsis: Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi (“Spiderman,” “Evil Dead”, “The Grudge”) and director Gil Kenan (“Monster House”) contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.
