Even since he signed on for the role in X-Men: First Class, James McAvoy’s Charles Xavier has been missing that one aspect that’s being with the character since the beginning: he wasn’t bald. We all thought X-Men: Days of Future Past would see him rocking the shorn look, but he added more hair for that. Now, we know he’ll be sporting a look more in keeping with the comics, and original movies, for X-Men: Apocalypse with Bryan Singer sharing a picture of McAvoy midway through his transformation.
Joining the newly shorn McAvoy for what is said to be the final part of the trilogy started in First Class are the returning Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Rose Byrne (Moira McTaggert), Evan Peters (Quicksilver), and Lucas Till (Havok), along with newcomers Oscar Isaac (as the titular villain), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Ben Hardy (Angel), Lana Condor (Jubilee), and Olivia Munn (Psylocke).
X-Men: Apocalypse comes our way May 27th 2016.
