Coming from Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre director Jared Hess, Masterminds, based on true events, brings together an impressive comedic cast, namely Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson, Kristen Wiig, and Jason Sudekis, for an action comedy which sees an unassuming armoured truck driver (Galifianakis) forced to go on the lam after becoming a scapegoat for a massive heist which sees $17 million dollars being stolen.
The cast may be doing the same routines they have done time and agin, but there is something incredibily likable about Masterminds, and Hess's involvemnet promises that it will be delightfully silly.
Out in the U.S. on August 7th, there is no release date for Masterminds on this side of the pond as of yet.
