Disney's live-action Beauty & The Beast, due out next year, is moving forward with some inspired casting choices for it's leads! It was reported a little while back that Emma Watson is on board as Belle, and now it seems that we know who the two men fighting for her attention are.
Dan Stevens, who excelled in The Guest, has signed on as the titular beast in what could be the role that catapults him into the mainstream. We've also found out that Luke Evans will take the role of Gaston, the conceited bad guy who believes Belle should be his and his alone.
With such great talent involved, this is shaping up to be a helluva blockbuster when it hits screens, and is an indication of how much focus the movie is getting from the studio. Can't wait to Evans sneering his way through this and hamming it up as the baddie!
