Many fans of The Crow, myself included, were hopeful that a reboot could do justice to Alex Proyas dark, gothic vision of the James O Barr graphic novel, and Luke Evans seemed like a perfect fit for the lead role.
However, after Evans dropped out last month with scheduling conflicts, the project was stalled and there were fears it may not get off the ground at all. Today then, comes good news in the form of Jack Huston, the man who may now don the white facepaint and go on a supernatural revenge spree as murdered musician Eric Draven.
Huston is currently filming Ben-Hur with Timur Bekmambetov (that's gonna be one insane movie) and there are hopes he will accept the part and begin filming on The Crow as early as April.
Corin Hardy is still on board to direct, and the movie is finally gaining traction again. Like the saying goes, "it can't rain all the time".
