Bit of a strange story this, but it's been reported that Jamie Dornan wants nothing more to do with the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, supposedly because his wife Amelia Warner isn't happy with the sexual content. Australian magazine NW claims the 32-year-old has told the studio he won’t be back as Christian Grey for parts two and three.
Now, if I'm not mistaken, pretty much everyone on the planet was aware that the role of Christian Grey involved some kinky bondage and a whole lotta sex with lead female Anastasia Steele, so to me it screams of something else behind the scenes.
We've heard rumblings that director Sam Taylor Johnson was close to leaving the project on a number of occasions because of meddling from the book's author, EL James. There's surely more to this than meets the eye, but for now all that we know is producers are left with one hell of a headache if their Christian departs after only one film from a planned trilogy under his belt.
