Ian McKellen is taking on yet another famous literary character with Mr. Holmes, stepping into the shoes of an aging Sherlock Holmes as he confronts the case that made him retire from detective work. The first clip for the Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Kinsey, Twilight: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2) directed movie has arrived, giving us a good taste of what McKellen's tragic take on the famous detective has in store for us.
