Batman V Superman; Dawn of Justice hits cinemas next year, and Warner Bros are using it to launch their Justice League franchise. Problem is, for a Justice League origin story, there's one character suspiciously missing from the casting list.



Green Lantern, disastrously brought to life by Ryan Reynolds a few years ago is a huge cog in the Justice League wheel, and almost all iterations of the super team include one of the fabled Green Lantern Corps. While it's up to Zack Snyder whether or not GL gets included in his movie, I have a sneaking suspicion that Warner Bros and DC are trying to sneak him in under the radar.



Enter Dan Amboyer, a little-known actor who is confirmed as part of the cast for Batman V Superman, and is listed as "drone pilot", an occupation not a million miles away from that of one Mr. Hal Jordan, test pilot and the most famous Green Lantern.



Amboyer's instagram page has thrown up some clues that he may be donning the famous ring, firstly by the numerous pics of him bulking up for what is only officially a very minor part.

More telling though, is this image, posted a few short weeks ago of Amboyer donning a very familiar jacket for anyone who reads Justice League comics...

So does all of this mean that DC and SNyder have found their man? Maybe. We'll have to wait and see. One thing is for sure though; expect GL to make an appearance in Batman V Superman in some form or another...its just not the Justice League without him.
