Ever since the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron was dropped on us, thousands of questions swirled around the highly anticipated super hero sequel, especially who Andy Serkis, sans any motion capture magic, would be playing. Eagle eyed Marvel fans immediately jumped on Ulysses Klaw, longtime foe of future Marvel Cinematic Universe member Black Panther (played by Chadwick Boseman), mainly due to his similarity to the characters appearance in the comics. Serkis' identity in the movie has been kept secret since the first trailer, but Stitch Kingdom have confirmed that the actor will indeed be playing Ulysses Klaw, no doubt sowing the seeds for 2017's Black Panther.
For those not in the know, Ulysses Klaw is the alter ego of Klaw, a thorn in the side of Black Panther for quite some time, a being composed entirely of solidified sound possessing a device mounted on his arm which converts sound waves into physical constructs. Obviously, the first time we see him he is more on the human side, but considering Serkis' predilections for motion capture, it's a bit of a no brainer to assume that any future use of the character will feature a CGI augmented appearance more in keeping with the comic books.
Avengers: Age of Ultron reaches screens on this side of the pond on April 23rd, while the U.S. will have to wait till May 1st.
