One of the two films director Terence Malick shot back to back in 2012 (the other being an Ryan Gosling starring untitled project, once called Lawless) Knight of Cups will get it's debut next February at the Berlin Film Festival, and an absolutely beautiful, lyrical first trailer has debuted. Little is known about the films story, other than it seems to be exploring excess and fame through the experiences of Christian Bale's Rick, but the movie looks stunning thanks to cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki (Gravity, Children of Men, and Malick's own Tree of Life and To The Wonder). Mix that with a stellar cast, including Bale, Antonio Banderas, Natalie Portman, Brian Dennehy, and Cate Blanchett, and this is one movie to definitely keep an eye on.
