The follow up to Irish director Gerard Barrett's impressive debut Pilgrim Hill, Glassland is going to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival as part of the World Cinema Dramatic Competition, which screens twelve films from a worldwide selection of emerging talents. With the on the rise Jack Reynor leading the cast, Glassland walks the same bleak and grim road Pilgrim Hill did, telling the story of a taxi driver trying to save his mother form addiction. Reynor is joined by an exceptional supporting cast, including Toni Collette, Will Poulter, and Michael Smiley.
The 2015 Sundance Film Festival takes place from January 22nd to February 2nd in Park City, Utah. Glassland hits cinemas here April 17th 2015.
