The first Pitch Perfect was a pleasant surprise, and it's looking like lighting may strike twice with Pitch Perfect 2. The first trailer for the sequel, which sees the original's producer and co-star Elisabeth Banks take on directing duties, has hit and it shows off a plot very reminiscent of kids sports movies with the Barden Bellas (who include a returning Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and new comer Hailee Stanfield) entering the world a ccapella championships (they even take on their evil, efficient German counterparts). The humour and music that made the original so enjoyable returns, with the trailer packing in some genuine laughs. Check it out below.
