With James Wan currently putting the final touches on Fast & Furious 7, directing duties on Insidious: Chapter 3 fall to series co-creator Leigh Wannell, making his directorial debut with this prequel installment that plans to shed more light on The Further, with the series' resident medium Elise (Lin Shaye) taking on the case of a young girl terrorised by a demonic entity. Insidious: Chapter 2 made the misstep of telling a story where the scares and horror elements felt superfluous and tacked on. Hopefully, this third chapter can rectify this, as the original was a genuinely scary and unnerving experience. They're off to a good start with this teaser poster that forgoes the usual scary imagery for a truly creepy short poem.
