With production set to begin on December 8th, Quentin Tarantino's Civil War set The Hateful Eight has grown by one, with Jennifer Jason Leigh joining the cast, which includes Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Tim Rith, and Samuel L. Jackson, as the female lead, Daisy Domergue, according to The Wrap. The story sees a motley crew of characters dealing with rising tensions while trapped in a blizzard, and Leigh will play a prisoner on her way to hang for her crimes. The role was reportedly highly sought with the likes of Michelle Williams, Hillary Swank, Robin Wright, and Demi all chasing it.
No concrete release date has being given, but The hateful Eight is expected to reach cinemas late 2015.
