Not another outing for Johnny Knoxville's Irving Zisman, Dirty Grandpa instead see's Zac Efron play foil to Robert De Niro as an uptight groom is forced to drive his foul mouthed grandfather, a former Army general, to Florida for Spring Break, the day before his wedding. Plot wise, we've seen this type of set-up a million times before, but Efron has been on a roll lately, and he seems to have found his footing with R-Rated comedies. The liability here, and I hate to say this, is De Niro, who has really disappointed lately when it come to trying his hand at comedy. Guess time will tell.
Dirty Grandpa is set for release Christmas Day 2014.
