Set for release in the Summer of 2016, Ted 2 is getting its cast together, with Variety reporting Morgan Freeman will be joining the sequel to the hit comedy as a famous civil rights lawyer who comes to the aid of everybody's favorite foul mouthed CGI teddy bear. The full plot is still been kept under wraps, but this casting hints towards Ted dealing with some serious legal issues. Seth McFarlane returns as writer, director, and voice of the titular teddy bear, with Mark Wahlberg and much of the original cast also returning. Freeman joins Amanda Seyfried as the second new comer to the project, and no doubt McFarlane has something fun in store for his character.
Ted is set for release June 26th 2015.
