The first trailer for John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves as an ex-hitman looking for revenge on the gangsters who killed his dog and stole his car, has hit the internet with a flurry of gunfire and crazy action. It's good to see director, and veteran stunt co-ordinator, Chad Stahelski is having fun with the premise, because, with the absurd plot, if this was taken too seriously it could easily be the kind of bad action movie you see on the direct to DVD shelf. As it is, John Wick promises to be a tremendous amount of fun, with Keanu Reeves seemingly having a blast.
