Even though it was announced weeks before X-Men: Days of Future Past was released, a lot of the details of its sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse, were up in the air, especially whether or not director Bryan Singer would return to the X-Men franchise for the fourth time. Now, Fox have confirmed that he will return for the movie that will finally bring fan favorite villain, Apocalypse (seen in the end credits sting of Days of Future Past), to the big screen. Nothing much is known about the story, other than it will be set in the 1980's with the x-crew introduced in First Class battling the fearsome villain and his servants, the Four Horsemen.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27th 2016.
