We’re all busy people. Some of us are saving the world, others are trying to destroy it and the rest of us are reading iPads on the toilet. Either way, you may have missed some stuff that happened during the week in the world of movies. So, every Sunday (we say that now) we’re going to bring you “The Week In Movies In Case You Missed It”, complete with links to the original stories. So, let’s get going.
- A bunch of charming kids and Billy Connolly charmed our socks in the first trailer for What We Did On Our Holiday
- If you ever want to be a stunt co-coordinator in the movies, this video shows you how NOT to do it.
- Marvel Studios tugs on the heart strings with a wonderful gesture toward Rocket Raccoon co-creator Bill Mantlo.
- James Gunn is already raccooning away on “The Guardians Of The Galaxy 2” and this is what he had to say.
- The Expendables 3 blew up London. Actually that’s a lie. They held their World Premiere there. Watch the video of a bunch of angry old men do their thing.
- Starlord raps. Starlord raps. Chris Pratt drops some serious rhymes on the radio. This is a must watch.
- Speaking of raps, Jurassic World wrapped.
- Nicolas Cage got Left Behind after the rapture.
- Chris Pratt broke the internet for the second time this week by giving a tour of the galaxy’s second coolest spaceship.
- The first trailer for The Theory Of Everything dropped and it rather blew our mind. It looks really, really good.
- Warner Bros / DC made some pretty huge announcements this week, including movie Bats v Supes and 5357 new comic book movies.
- The Penguins Of Madagascar rocked our socks (they had little guitars and everything) in the new trailer for The Penguins Of Madagascar.
- Not to be outdone by Colin Trevorrow and Jurassic World, Joss Whedon wrapped principal photography on Avengers Age Of Ultron.
- The 212th Terminator movie got it’s official title. Internet explodes….due to possible typo.
- It wasn’t only James Gunn that spoke about a Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel, Marvel studios boss Kevin Feige opened his gob too.
- Tony Jaa joined the Kickboxer remake.
- The new trailer for The Book Of Life looks amazing. And we didn’t get frightened.
- Michael Fassbender sang his bollocks off, dressed as Frank.
- New Mocking Jay Posters turned up.
- Kristen Stewart went to Guantanamo Bay.
- Zack Synder rang a radio show and talking shit about Aquaman.
- JJ Abram’s Bad Robot created the image of the week. C3PO as Batman!
- One of the big wigs at Warner Bros. talked briefly about the Justice League Movie and we delved into DC release strategies.
- Daisy Ridley is the new Carrie Fisher (in a good way).
