The 75th Terminator movie (it feels like it at this stage) has got it’s official titled courtesy of production wrapping and a Arnold Schwarzenegger posting an image of him sitting in a chair with the full title. Terminator Genisys is what you’ll ask for at the box office next Summer and the Terminator himself posted the following on Facebook
“Hasta la vista, baby.
I want to thank the cast and crew of Terminator Genisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup - we couldn't have done it without you. I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I'll be back.”
I’m not convinced that Genisys (the sys part is obviously a play on the word system, no?) is going to be any good. Schwarzenegger, since returning to movies hasn’t made too many good decisions (Expendables 2 aside) and Genisys just seems like desperation. However, Alan Taylor is directing and that man gives me hope. Besides directing 6 episodes of Game Of Thrones, he did a rather good job on Thor: The Dark World, so with that in mind, the hope lives on.
