In the world of the new Planet of the Apes franchise, ten years have passed between the events of Rise and Dawn, with human society been decimated by the deadly Simian Flu, and Caesar and his tribe of bad ass monkeys thriving. A series of short films, all under the banner 'Before The Dawn', have been released, filling in the gaps, and doing a really nice job of setting the stage for the sequel.
