New York Times best seller, Mark Cotta Vaz dropped by the podcast today to chat about his new book Godzilla The Art Of Destruction. With over 30 books to his credit, Mark is at the top of his game and his new book is genuinely beautiful and superb. So, we chatted about the making of, a making of book and Mark kindly recounted an amazing scene involving a submarine that was cut from the movie. We also spoke at length about Gareth Edwards and Mark goes into great detail about his dealings with the Godzilla director. All that, and plenty more behind the scenes banter from Godzilla. And on a final note, considering he has a number of Star Wars books to his credit, I asked him about Star Wars Episode VII. You’ll have to judge his answer for yourself.
