Bill Paxton has joined the cast of upcoming comic book adaptation 2 Guns, playing the role of a CIA operative. Alongside him will be a stellar cast of stars which include Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg and Paula Patton. The adaptation from BOOM! Studios is a graphic novel involving the age old and successful formula of cops and robbers and everything in between.
The original comic book, written by Steven Grant with illustrations by Mat Santolouco features a script written by Blake Masters and will be directed by Baltasar Kormakur who recently worked with Mark Wahlberg in Contraband. The plot seems intriguing as gangster Trench has targeted a local bank to rob and invites Steadman (Paxton) who is a DEA Agent, Steadman while working undercover doesn’t realise that Trench has a secret of his own…..
