The Amazing Spider-Man viral campaign has kicked into high gear ahead of the film's release in June, and a new image has hit the internet showing a young Peter Parker and his parents in happier times. While it's a nice little primer for the movie, what's really interesting about it is the fact that Peter is making the web shooting pose with his left hand. This definitely ties into information already dropped that the movie is updating the hero's origin slightly (hinted at in the latest trailer), that Peter's powers were only unlocked by the spider bite, and he has had them for alot longer than he realized. I have no idea how this origin will play out, and I'm interested to see what the people behind the movie have come up with.

Synopsis: Teenager Peter Parker grapples with both human problems and amazing super-human crises.
